Job Description:
Job Title: Oracle DBA, Linux System Administrator, Helpdesk

Job Location: Bangkok, Thailand

Start Date: 02/January/2010 onwards

Roles and Responsibilities:
The United Nations is deploying several CRM applications including the front office (call center) and back office (IT helpdesk, facilities management, travel services…) process automation using Siebel, Oracle database and Linux.

We are looking for several Oracle database administrators, Linux system administrators and Helpdesk agents at the mid-level to join the UN Center of Siebel Expertise in Bangkok, Thailand. They will be working in an international environment to support the production environment of Siebel solutions for the United Nations worldwide.

Qualifications:
The candidates must possess at least one of the skills defined below:

• 4+ years of Oracle database administration on v10 or later
• 2+ years of Linux system administration
. 1+ year of on-line functional application support (training on applications will be given by the UN)

Excellent verbal and written skills in English are required. Users are located in New York, Geneva, Vienna, Nairobi… and other UN offices worldwide.

Education: Information Management, Information Technologies, English degree with IT mindset

Years of Experience: Depending on the job assignment

Employment Term:
Successful candidates will be offered attractive salary as full-time consultants on renewable contracts.

Oracle DBA : working hours from 6pm to 2am Bangkok time
Linux System administrator : working hours from 6pm to 2am Bangkok time
Helpdesk: shift of 8 hours per day

Salary:
Competitive, negotiable, based on international practices

Visa:
Please note the place of work will be in Bangkok, Thailand. The United Nations will take care of Thai work permits for successful non-Thai candidates.
